This isn't your parents' department store photo session. Editorial Lifestyle photography aims to capture the subject living life, engaging with their environment, and being themselves. Forget about stiff posing and feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera. I will gently guide you into natural postures to make you (and perhaps your family, your pets, your business, and event guests....you get the idea) look and feel your/their best. Imagine going on a walk with an old friend, who just happens to have a camera with them. My process is relaxed, approachable, and fun. My only goal is to serve you and to create pictures you'll love and treasure for decades to come.
My motto: Treat others how you would like to be treated. That sum's it up.

Tiara Dérs is the founder, artist and sole photographer of Wild Sea Photography©. Capturing life's fleeting moments is an extension of her joie de vivre. After being professionally trained in photography and graphic arts, Tiara provided photography services for prominent California portrait studios. From there, Tiara branched out on her own. In 2005 Wild Sea Photography© was born. Providing real people with editorial quality images in photojournalistic style. Serving you for 17 years and counting!

tiara at wild sea photography was so amazing to work with! i was worried that having my picture taken for three hours (senior photos) would be weird... it wasn't!! i had so much fun and i love my senior pics so much! I recommended Wild sea to all of my friends and many of them have either already had their senior photos with Wild Sea or are booked with her. Don't write many reviews but the overall experience far exceeded expectations. Clear information on the website and quick follow up on questions. Our kids pictures came out beautifully and Tiara has a way of encouraging them to pose in the right way as well as capturing the natural moments. We appreciated the flexibility on the photo shoot location and recommendations on clothing colors to get the best outcome. All in all A+ full service experience. We'll be back for Christmas shoots
Tiara was amazing!! I was drawn in by her adorable name and logo then was sold when I saw her work! We asked her to take photos at our preschool’s Halloween event to use in our future media and advertisements and I am so glad we did! She responded right away, came on time and took all the pictures we recommended. She interacted with each of the families that came by and was so kind to everyone she came in contact with. The pictures came back fast and we absolutely loved them!! Definitely recommend!!
